The machine has a Safety Clutch mechanism and includes features like a 5⁄8” high presser foot lift. The machine has a Semi-Automatic Lubrication system and a newly designed presser foot lifting devise with a Large Top Dial mechanism for adjusting the walking foot height lift while on the fly crossing over thick seams or obstacles.
You can sew from a very short stitch length of about 20 stitches per inch up to a very long stitch length of 3 stitches per inch in forward or in reverse sewing modes.
The 1541 Heavy Duty Machine stitches up to 7⁄16” of Leather, Fabrics, or Canvas and additionally sews thread sizes from as small as size z-46 up to a remarkable z-207 without special mechanical adjustments.
